
The most famous photo in the world may not be what you think. It's not the Mona Lisa, V-J Day in Times Square, or Lunch atop a Skyscraper, but actually a picture titled "Bliss." It was taken by former National Geographic photographer Charles O'Rear in 1996 near Napa Valley in Sonoma, California. The picture rose to fame after Microsoft used it as the default computer background for their Windows XP operating system, and it's now estimated that over 1 billion people have seen the photograph. #microsoft #photography
