In this episode, we show the production process of NSE (Natural Stone Effect) concrete tiles, which faithfully imitate natural stone and brick. MAX-STONE from Krosno was the first company in Europe to implement digital UV printing technology on concrete.
Production begins with the development of graphic designs and 3D models, which make their way to the production line. Raw materials such as granite, sand and cement are mixed according to a recipe and poured into silicone matrices that give shape to the tiles. After initial drying, the tiles are scanned to precisely match the pattern, which is then printed using UV technology.
Each batch undergoes quality control, including for coating durability and water resistance. The finished tiles are packaged and shipped to markets in 23 European countries. The factory, which is fully automated, uses energy from its own photovoltaic farm, allowing for sustainable production.
