At the end of the Grand Chasm (OSF-013), after countless rooms and reflections, one finds The Divide. It offers no direction, only two paths: a tall, illuminated door standing silently ahead, nearly thirty feet high, or the continuation into one final corridor, still and unresolved. Surrounding the path and the base of the door is a narrow field of short grass, the first sign of life in the Chasm, growing low and undisturbed, as if quietly signifying that this is the end of something. The door is not marked, but those who have passed through the Chasm know what it means. It appears only to those who have reached the point where further understanding no longer comes from searching, but from choosing. Some visitors report hearing soft footsteps in the grass nearby, steady and close, though they remain completely alone. To exit is not escape, nor resolution, but transformation, leaving behind the need to keep walking. To continue is to remain within the Chasm's questions, still searching for something that may never arrive. Most pause here for a very long time.
