Rainbow – After The Storm (1968) (USA)
Rainbow's album After The Storm is the only studio album by the Los Angeles, United States-based psychedelic rock band Rainbow, released in 1968.
The album consists of an experimental sound that blends a variety of styles, including acid rock, sunshine pop, and hard rock, and is particularly characterised by fuzzy guitars and progressive keyboard work reminiscent of Iron Butterfly.

The album is based on a fuzzy guitar and keyboard-driven psychedelic rock sound, mixing elements from various genres to create a unique atmosphere. ‘Does Your Head Need Straightening?’ and ‘Midnight Candle’ in particular stand out for their experimental sounds and effects. The album as a whole is regarded as a representative work of the underground rock scene on the West Coast of the United States in the late 1960s.
