"Spirals" is the title track of our first official album released under the same name. In 1998, we were still young guys, just in our 20s, who dreamed of making our own electronic music. "Spirals" turned out to be our ticket to the Polish classical electronic music scene.
Thus began an adventure for us that lasted more than 10 years.
The album "Spirals" was recorded in very amateurish conditions. The tracks were mastered several times to get better quality.
In making this track available on YouTube, I decided to go back to those days, so the recording was deliberately put through a tape simulation.
You can listen to the original recording and the entire album on bandcamp:
Remote Spaces (1993-2004) was a duo comsisting of Konrad "Yankus" Jakrzewski and Krzysztof "Horn" Rzeznicki from Poland. Their music is firmly based on the best electronic music traditions established by Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Vangelis. If you're looking for a mix of berlin school of electronic music (berlin schule music), ambient and melodic electronic music, you've come to the right place. :)
