The "mystery album" is out!! "The Rest of Our Lives" is a heartfelt MLP tribute compilation album from veterans of the scene as well as party regulars, and I'm so excited to be able to share about it by way of this track from the album, loophoof and Tw3Lv3's contribution!!

As a surprise, many pony musicians have been gathering and working on one heartfelt compilation album, and a "Sori52 reunion of sorts", that has such a deep and meaningful story behind it about the show, how it impacted us, and how The Rest of Our Lives is beginning now that the show is over and we start a new chapter. Find below the official description of the project, that I just have to include here to show you all:

"The Rest of Our Lives is a fanmade My Little Pony album where musicians come together and express their feelings of gratitude towards the show, the creators and the fan communities around it. It’s a reflection on change, on beginnings and endings.

Both the title and motif are placed in the morning after the coronation in the finale, when the parties have been celebrated, the thank yous have been told, and the first day of the rest of the character’s lives has begun, lives that they may at times have felt uncertain about, lives that we don’t get to see.

In a similar fashion, the end of Friendship is Magic is a moment that lends itself to reflection. After years in this fandom we can really take in all that’s happened to us, the friends we’ve made, the experiences we had, the lessons we learned (and continue to learn), and how it might have helped shape our lives too. Chapters end and chapters begin, and who are we now as we stand on these crossroads? When we look out into the rest of our lives, what is it we see?"

As you can read, it's so deep and relatable, and it's so lovely how all these musicians have gathered to make this grand tribute with love!! I've been honored to be invited in the project early on and I've been helping in the ways I can such as giving suggestions of pony musicians to invite, and of course with promotion. Thank you Freewave, And The Rainfall and everypony, you're all awesome!!

Loophoof and Tw3Lv3 contributed with a banging and uplifting remix of SoGreatandPowerful's classic "On My Own", bringing much emotion with their own unique musical styles, and always with those divine pony vocal chops!

Everypony contributed to the album with such heartfelt and emotional pieces, instilling much nostalgia and emotion, and giving much strength as we remember our common feelings toward the show and the ponies, and go through The Rest of Our Lives together!!
