- FR – Saddicition est paru le 14/02/2025 chez @NuclearBlastRecords. Nos amis français de @hangmanschair2963 se sont imposés ces dernières années dans un genre bien particulier que l’on pourrait décrire comme du cold doom metal, ou gothic/stoner metal atmosphérique, les qualificatifs ne manquant pas... Sur ce nouvel opus de qualité et très agréable à l’écoute, on est dans la lignée du précédent, A Loner, avec ce son très pur et light, même si l’ambiance demeure finalement mélancolique, avec une belle dynamique, moins de surprise cependant. Malheureusement leur tournée 2025 vient d’être annulée…

- ENG – Saddication is the 7th album by Parisian band HANGMAN’S CHAIR. Our French friends have established themselves in recent years in a very particular genre that could be described as cold doom metal, or atmospheric gothic/stoner metal, with no shortage of adjectives... On this new, high-quality and very pleasant album, we are in the same vein as their previous album, Aloner, with its very pure and light sound, even if the atmosphere ultimately remains melancholic, with a nice dynamic, though less surprising. Unfortunately, their 2025 tour has just been canceled...
