At Thomann:
At Sweetwater:
I’ve only played my new Rat 2 for a few hours, but it’s already changed the way I feel about distortion and overdrive pedals, and I now understand why people like Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys, James Hetfield, Graham Coxon, Dave Grohl, Kurt Cobain, Nuno Bettencourt, David Gilmour and Thom Yorke from Radiohead (and so many others!) have used them. This video is your warning not to make the same mistake I did… so watch my demo, hear my reasons, then go try a Rat as soon as you can!
There's lot of playing samples here, so here's links for all the different parts, as well as the speaking bits at the end:

35:19 What other Rats should I try?
This is the That Pedal Show Rat episode I mentioned:
I used my 2014 Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro for this demo. The guitar went into the Rat 2, which went straight into my Hughes & Kettner Black Spirit 200 head. That went from the Red Box DI straight into my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, which went into Logic Pro X. That's it. No post-processing on the sounds was done.
Here’s some links to those bits of gear:
-----
Epiphone Les Paul (well, current ones... they don't make mine any more!):
H&K Black Spirit 200 head:
Focusrite 4i4 (the newer equivalent of my 2i4, which they also don’t make any more!):

Enjoy!
