Inspired by the Viking journey to the Mediterranean and the Middle East, led by Björn Ironside, I set out to write a track that not only incorporated the Norse influences we know and love, but to also fuse with it the Persian scale while attempting to combine both cultures in a song. Writing within the Persian scale was a bit different for me on the tagelharpa but was super fun once I understood it. This track is also a personal milestone as it represents a better understanding with mixing and mastering than I have ever had before. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did writing it ^_^
