Sadjuna is an original song brought to us by our band member Arouna Diarra. It has the layers and texture of traditional Burkina Faso with the highlighted elements of Arouna's original songwriting paired with our own vocal compliments. Sadjuna ignites beauty in our hearts when we play it, but its core is melancholic and is about people who die young. Often, its the sad songs that strike the deepest. We give honor and homage to Arouna's traditions and experiences here and offer up harmony as a way to sing through the hard times of this life.
