"Bridge over Troubled Water" is a song by the American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, released in January 1970 as the second single from their fifth studio album, Bridge over Troubled Water (1970). It was written by Paul Simon.

Singer-songwriter John Legend is one of the most successful soul artists of our time. With his sweet yet powerful voice and strong songs he has conquered many hearts. His 2004 debut album Get Lifted sold more than three million copies and earned him eight Grammy nominations, three of which were received. He has now won many platinum records and another five Grammys. In addition to being a passionate musician, Legend is a socially committed person. In 2007, he founded the Show Me Campaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty worldwide. In 2010 he made the socially critical album Wake Up! with The Roots. Legend recently contributed to the soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino's film Django with the compelling song Who Did That To You. He is currently working on a new album with artist and producer Kanye West.
