The 1980's were truly the golden age of RC. For a kid growing up in those days RC was only just beginning and so many great kits were making their first appearance on the scene.

The ThunderShot was an amazing 4WD kit from 1987 that came with a futuristic cab forward design for the driver position. It was also the replacement for the aging Hot Shot chassis which meant it was lighter and more accessible. For me, this was a kit I drooled over. Any 4WD cars back then were too expensive for me but this kit was one that I remember a great deal and I'm so glad that Tamiya have brought it back. The first rerelease of this kit was in 2005 and then again in 2008. Lucky for all of us Tamiya fans that they decided to do another run in 2022 making it possible to pick one of these up again.

In this video we'll do step 26 where we will check the R/C Equipment to make sure the steering servo is in neutral.
