Facilitated by the African Union and now mediated by Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé, these negotiations are taking place in Doha, Qatar, marking a significant move towards resolving the long-standing crisis. The talks follow M23’s recent withdrawal from the strategic town of Walikale, a gesture seen as a goodwill signal.
