Covering a piece of the score from Raya and the Last Dragon earlier this week really got me thinking about finding new ways to combine electronic instruments with orchestra. Yesterday was all about putting the electronics out in front like a solo or concerto type of instrument, and today is about folding the synthesizer inside of the orchestra to make a new timbre. I decided to use only a small section of woodwinds and see how the ARP-2600, Buchla Easel Command, Moog Grandmother, and Make Noise Morphagene would combine with flute, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, and 1 bass clarinet. I left my original piano sketch part in, because it made the whole piece of music so peaceful. This is called "Where the Water Flows."

Patch Notes:
Una Corda piano library from Native Instruments. Orchestral instruments are BBCSO from Spitfire.
Buchla Easel Command 208c to Make Noise Erbeverb to 4ms Tapographic Delay to X-pan (controlled by Intellijel Quadrax) to Boss RC-5 looper pedal to Eventide H9.
Normalled Moog patch using triangle waves and hard sync for the lead sound.
ARP-2600 normalled patch with tons of spring reverb. This is making the low bass sound.
Morphagene loaded with piano reels to Monsoon (mutable instruments Clouds clone)
