In June this year, Madsen came out publicly in an Instagram post with the caption: “In love with a woman, loud about it and proud about it! 🌈”.
She told PinkNews: “I really hope one day that it doesn’t matter… but right now it does matter and you have to be visible and you have to speak out and you have to be yourself”.
