The hospital wasn't a place to promote hostels so the man seeing this was upset to see a man try profitting off of desperate people with sick relatives.
He decided to confront him. A passersby told him that the man is there everyday. But before he got to confront him, he already got a new customer. A college age student. The man with the sign explain that his parents are sick and he's offering a place for free to stay. He invited the man to come along.
Thinking this might be a trap he was prepared to grab the boy and run but when he got inside, he noticed that the rooms are stacked with beds. Turns out he was indeed offering beds for free to people.
5 years ago, he was sick and hospitalized for 40 days unexpectedly. His family spent all the money they had to try and help him. They had no more money left for hotels and slept in hospital hallways.
Once he was healed he vowed to be the support he and his family needed but never gotten. However, most people thought he's a scammer and refused to follow him. But over the past 5 years he still managed to help over 300 families and offered them a place to stay.
He allows them a proper place to stay and rest without spending more so they can leave all the resources for their sick family members. Despite being called a scammer multiple times, he still kept on asking. It's rare to see someone like him so kind and generous.
