"The Pearl" was awarded 3rd place on the first Madeira Underwater Photo and Video Open, in the category "Underwater World Film". It is meant to "show the beauty of the underwater nature of Madeira Islands and the interaction of human being with nature".
The contest took place in Funchal, Madeira Island, from the 3rd to the 8th October 2022.
The underwater scenes were filmed in:

"Blue Hole",
"Baixa da Cruz".
