I swear I’ve never put the toaster away without a crumb pile. Having a dedicated toaster drawer would totally solve this.
The docking drawer outlet mentioned here has a feature that turns off the power when the drawer is pushed in. I’d still leave the drawer open for a bit to let the toaster cool down but a good feature nonetheless.
