There is a pressing need for transformative technologies to reach carbon neutrality. Renew CO2, led by Karin Calvinho, Ph.D., has developed a solution called eCUT (electrocatalytic Carbon Utilization Technology). The process converts CO2 captured from chemical processes and converts it into materials used to make polymers like Polyetylene terephthalate (PET). By recycling CO2 emissions into useful products, Renew CO2 created a technology that can help mitigate climate change.
