Don’t miss this step!This step may not be required if you have fresh bags of masonry cement but if you notice clumps in the cement, you’ll want to make a sieve to screen the material.
We used materials we already had on hand to build the sieve. We weren’t sure if the door screen material would work with the weight of the sand and cement but it actually worked great 🎉
We built our sieve to fit perfectly over a wheelbarrow. We recommend wearing a respirator while screening the masonry cement!
