Do you know what 재우다 is?
- Oh, putting your kid to sleep

* 재우다 : put (a child / my son / daughter) to sleep

How did that happen? (어쩌다가 그랬어?)

I used to smoke almost every day.
예전에는 담배를 거의 매일 폈었어.

이제는 안 펴.
(but) I don’t (smoke) anymore.

I used to eat chocolate almost after every meal, but I don’t anymore.

I used to go out for walks almost every night, but I don’t anymore.

I used to be late to school all the time

I used to drink coffee almost every day, but I don’t anymore.

왜? 줄이려고 하는 거야?
Why? Are you trying to cut back?

I used to eat a whole fried chicken by myself in one sitting, but I don’t anymore.

Why not? Did you start feeling sorry for them?

I don’t know. I guess I just got tired of it.

I never used to be able to --

예전에는 이렇게 간단하지 않았어.

It used to be simple

It didn’t use to be simple.

예전에는 이것보다 훨씬 복잡했어.
It used to be much more complicated than this.

예전에 이 자리에 KFC가 있었지.
There used to be a KFC here.

(예전에는) 맨날 왔었는데.
I used to come all the time.

행복했는데.
I was happy.

그때가 좋았는데.
Those were the days.
Good old days.
I miss those days.

But now it’s some stupid salad place. All they have is healthy food. What’s happening to the world? It’s a conspiracy.
