We are not sure if it’s allowed to post this video as the Point Break footage and film is owned by 20th Century Fox, so if it’s not permitted, please contact us at GrungePopRecords (at) Hotmail (dot) com immediately and we’ll take it down.
Because we also love this movie (you must see it if you have not), the band has stated that they put that film footage in because they want to educate people on the power of love and the true meaning of surfing and brotherhood and that this film portrays that in many obscure ways, but it does they said.
The band Prince Of Lilies wrote this song to tell their story of being in an earthquake in Los Angeles and losing love and then standing up for what they believe in and in return the love returns via surfing in grace and by being in harmony with nature. This is the information they gave us.
Former drummer of the band lost his house and all of his possessions in the LA wildfires and the band has been doing what they can to donate any profits from their shows in LA to MusiCares Foundation.
We will also post some information on the fabulous movie below:
Point Break is a 1991 American action film directed by Kathryn Bigelow and written by W. Peter Iliff. It stars Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Lori Petty and Gary Busey. The film's title refers to the surfing term "point break", where a wave breaks as it hits a point of land jutting out from the coastline. The film features Reeves as an undercover FBI agent who is tasked with investigating the identities of a group of bank robbers while he develops a complex relationship with the group's leader (Swayze).
