Second single taken from "Pale Grey Monochrome", the third album from French melancholic doom/death metalers Inborn Suffering, out next February 7th 2025 via Ardua Music.

Inborn Suffering was first formed in Paris back in 2002 and over the course of the following eight years they established themselves as masters of doom, spinning tragic tales across foundations of colossal riffs and ethereal melody. They produced two critically acclaimed albums - Wordless Hope and Regression To Nothingness - before stepping away from the scene in 2012.
With a new album ready to be released on February 7th, 2025 "Pale Grey Monochrome" is a stunning collection of songs that preserves the mournful, reflective soul of Inborn Suffering, but somehow reaches new heights of melodic beauty and plunges to new depths of absolute desolation and despair. It will capture the hearts of the doomed and the damned, all devotees of the most sombre and introspective sounds.
Band would speak on this second advance track _" The Oak is a poetic journey through despair and rebirth, the text explores forgotten truths and the collapse of illusions. Themes of divine absence, decay, and rage intertwine with imagery of ashes, sorrow, and renewal. Amid hollow emptiness and shattered identities, it envisions revival and rage-fueled transcendence."_
LYRICS
Transcending visions below
Behold the sight of forgotten truths
Reborn from the ashes
Of our drowned delusions
Where are thy gods, where are thy saviors
Evading Souls as we turn to bitter calls
Trading blood for a burning shade to higher grounds
There are no reasons to thrive as we die
Un-conceive the flesh of the fallen masses
Reaching the colors divine tearing us apart
Marching through demise retrieve the solace blood
Impending faceless eyes
Falling streamless lives disintegrate
The sign, the heart of thousand sorrows
Through blackened skies the stars rejoice
The fading exemptions
Of foreseen conclusions and untold ceremonies
Witness and decompose harvesting its demise
Witness all around
Nothingness abides the emptiness of our fall
There is no joy there is no conscience
Seeking to drown falling apart
Hollowness deep within ghosting the lie
Trying hard to be my old self claiming past lives
Reborn from the ashes divine
Reborn from the slumber revive
We breed the same, we feed the rage
The signs of the ancients, the sight ablaze
We breed the same, we feed the rage
The signs of the ancients, the sight ablaze
