I recorded a very basic acoustic guitar bit to try to show off Merel's voice as much as possible. She did 1 take of this and nailed it, as usual. This was some of the most fun I ever had recording something, and at the time I wrote the lyrics they had some meaning to me. It was amazing to hear her singing them. The lost was lost for a while, a couple files were corrupted, and I ended up recording some extras. Bass, piano, electric guitar. Probably overproduced it, but this is a rare one that I'm really proud of.
