Usually there’s, no need to overthink when it comes to how many fans you need or where to put them. But there here are some tips that can help you in the long run.

Try to create positive air pressure in your case, meaning you have more fans pulling cool air in vs exhaust fans. This will help minimize the dust that gets built up in your PC so you wont have to clean it as often.

Also remember that heat rises, so it’s usually good to place exhaust fans near the top of your case to expel the hot air.
