President Traore is under attack not from terrorists but from French and Western Media. These media houses delight in spreading false information about President Traore with the aim of controlling the narrative about what the citizens of Burkina Faso think about Traore. Recently, a local Burkinabe journalist who is also a staunch defender of the Sahel region has revealed some of the lies that have been told about President Traore by the media houses. The depth of the lies is shocking and reveals the extent to which these people would go in order to remove Traore’s administration from power. In this video, we are going to show you some of the lies spread by the media.

First of all, let's start from the beginning. Burkina Faso and other countries in the Sahel region have been faced with severe insecurity and terrorism. For Mali, it has been almost ten years while for Burkina Faso it has been eight years. And in all these times, the S countries have been dealing with the situation all by themselves. Not one African country including their neighbors like Ghana or Nigeria has offered to help. The insecurity has led to the death of thousands of people with millions more displaced and uprooted from their homes. In addition to this, the economic situation has been amongst the poorest in Africa.
