Rhythm Practice in Simple Meter (4/4 time) focus on quarter notes and eighth notes.
In this video we will practice clapping along to 7 different rhythms. We will do each rhythm two times. I will be tapping and counting along with you to keep you on track. The focus is only on quarter notes and eighth notes in this video, so that you can get really good at quarter note and eighth note rhythms, and going back and forth between quarter note and eighth note rhythms. This is a great rhythm practice for anyone who is looking to improve feeling the beat. At the end of the video there is also a challenge with clashing rhythms. I will be clapping one rhythm , and you will be clapping along a different rhythm. You can clap along, tap along, or play along on one note with me to improve your rhythm.
