I took the Creality Ferret Pro 3D Scanner for a spin. I scanned various items as a beginner 3D scanner user to see what would work well and what doesn't. It turns out, the best objects to scan are sculptures of at least 6" cubed. Things that have narrow gemoetries doesn't do so well. Also large objects would need some anchor points so that it can keep a lock on the 3D space while scanning.
