On this episode TIDES sets up and hit you in the face with ambient guitars and almost calming melodies. Then the singer hits the microphone with a barrage of heart wrenching bi-polar screams mixed with soft crooning vocals.This band knows how to use dynamics in their songs and it’s absolutely brilliant. Bass and drums keep a steady style of off and on beat rhythms (if that makes sense) almost like a jam band but the amazing guitar work is structured and the songs are solid. Their songs take you on a journey like falling in love just to tear the relationship into tiny pieces then live in torment and regret. What a great performance from a band that takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The name TIDES fits this band like a glove. What say you people?
