Flying in and out of Vagar Airport in the Faroe Islands requires special training. It is surrounded by high terrain, is subject to moderate/severe turbulence as well as frequent bad weather and low visibility with a runway thats less than 1800m.This is our 2nd ATLANTIC AIRWAYS Cockpit Film. We feature the Airbus A319 on 6 flights in and out of Vagar as well as 15 sectors on the Augusta Westland 139 Helicopter around the islands.
In 2002 we produced our 1st film featuring the airline's fleet of Avro RJ85/100s and Bell 412 Helicopter.
