With an expanded chest & with bravery should one be taken into oblivion?
Yet we run because we don’t know what else to do.
Worse, we hide… Don’t we all hide the mystical we possess? How shameful is that?
Yes, I'm quite convinced that if a luminous comet were upon us we’d attempt to throw a cosmic blanket over it and stick it in a spare room in the cosmos.
Oh! The fire! Ha ha ha… of course. What of the fire ? Ha ha the fire… of bullets and bombs…
Why do we humans think the flame is destructive?
When it is the most generative of miracles?
The substance in which Gods bathe.
One angel most notoriously bathed in fire and is he not quite the ruler today?
And so this is how far we have fallen.
I guess we do shudder at the transcendent, do we not?
As you read you surely are asking why?
Why run? Why hide? Why destroy?
Well to ask these questions one would have to be as ignorant as an amoeba.
Reading a story of course spares you the crippling terror.
A book, a lesson, a program, even a magical song… all is lost in a telling oral, written, or those other monstrous mediums...
I'm sure you, dear reader, would have done things differently.
