We couldn’t be more grateful for all the support we’ve received throughout 2024. However, we want to give a special thanks to the people who made it possible for us to present this video. Thank you, Sonsóles, thank you, Faustino, thank you, Antonio, for making our dream of playing and recording this piece of music at the Segóbriga Archaeological Park (Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain) a reality, and for the exceptional treatment we received throughout the process. It’s truly a dream come true, as in this very place, back in 2021, a group of friends, including Andrea (singer) and Juan Pablo (double bassist), visited this ancient Roman city, and we were amazed, not only by the imposing architectural marvel that has stood there, perennial and defiant against the adversities of time for over 2000 years, but also by the acoustics of the Roman Amphitheater. At that moment, two friends were pretending to be gladiators, and after a small staged fight, Andrea provided the soundtrack to the scene, singing random notes lyrically, filling the entire circular space with her voice as if it were water, resonating and multiplying the waves and echoes in our minds to this day. Back then, we had no idea we would form a cover band, let alone that we would work with “Now We Are Free.” However, there is no doubt that that encounter with the greatness of the past sparked a flame that would guide us years later. In early 2024, when we decided to create our version of the song, we considered several locations to film it, but none seemed to capture the magnitude of what we wanted to convey. Until, perhaps due to that same magic that filled us in the amphitheater, one day we simultaneously wondered: What if we film it in Segóbriga?
