
1. Lightly toast a soft bun. I prefer a New England-style roll.
2. Bread your fish of choice in your favorite fish fry.
3. Heat your oil to 350º and fry your fish for 3 minutes.
4. Line your bun with some good quality tartar sauce, fresh lettuce and tomato, garlic pickles, and sweet pickled red onions.
5. Add your fried fish, another layer of tartar sauce, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Even if you're just making a meal for yourself, you should take the time and energy to do it right.
You deserve it.
