This woman attended her own funeral. How did this happen? Well, she was diagnosed with cancer and given just 2 years to live so instead of wasting time and waiting death to take her. She decided to take matters into her own hands.
She held a funeral for herself. With the help of a friend from college. They were roommates actually. They went and got her pictures taken. Then, to make up for all the friends and people she'll never get to meet, she asked strangers at a tourist spot, from all over to leave her a message.
Everyone were so nice and kind to her. It moved her to tears. She told her parents that she will be their daughter again in the next life. And that she's just leaving ahead for a bit to find the right directions for all of them.
I think her story highlights how important health is. Even young people should be careful. And how precious life is. Sometimes we forget while busy with our lives. All of a sudden, exams doesn't matter, getting that interview didn't matter, that breakup didn't matter, that person who cut you off in traffic didn't matter, that person who pissed you off and didn't apologize didn't matter, or that extra 2 pounds you want to lose didn't matter. A lot of things doesn't matter when you're facing the last days of your lives.
So please, think about what you can let go of from your worries now and just live in the moments because not everyone have the privilege of having a future.
