Tesla auto wipers not great, but redeemed by excellent wiper controls

Auto wipers in Teslas have been notorious. This is because Tesla stopped using a traditional rain sensor and instead uses the camera to detect rain on the glass. I explain why they've struggled with this in this video
But via over-the-air updates, the auto wipers have continued to improve and they're not that bad now. They're still not quite as good as vehicles with rain sensors, but there's not much in it now. However, one thing that is better in a Tesla is the wiper controls. So if you find the auto wipers aren't working for you, you can simply switch it to one of the manual modes with the scroll wheel on the steering wheel (or use the touch screen).
