"Game Over" (Demon) by Optation | Geometry Dash 2.2

This is Optation's brand new level, "Game Over", which mixes design and effects really well. Picking any part in this, you can see a cool block design in the foreground with some neat effects in the background. The effects are not the most unique, but they do a good job of adding to the visual intensity to match the song. There are also lots of movements in the design and other decorations that help with this. From part to part, I like how it sticks to a "tech" vibe and a similar green and red color scheme, as it makes the level more cohesive overall. At the same time, this color scheme is pretty cool, especially with the amount of pulses used here. Finally, at 0:59, the level is rounded off by "dying", which explains the level name while being a unique ending.

I'd say the gameplay is about the same quality as the visuals. It also synchronizes really well to the song, which does mean that it goes very fast with many clicks. As a result, most of the level requires some practice, but without any particularly tough parts, I'd expect it to be a Medium Demon once rated. However, once you've practiced a bit, it's really fun to play and beat. Every part flows nicely, and especially the transitions between different parts. All in all, this is a really nice level by Optation that definitely deserves at least an Epic rating.
