Started the Project on the MPC 500 - Finished it in the Studio

Similar to a video I recently posted about composing in a similar style, I build the main structure and core sounds of my track on the MPC, then "live" record the output of that into my DAW and then layer additional instruments and textures on top to finish out the track. In this video, I give you a stylized look at that process.

The first 50 seconds or so are MPC only and then the other instruments start to make appearances.

Gear Used:
- Akai MPC 500
- Korg MS-20 Mini
- Elektron Digitone (for both synths and effects on other gear)
- Yamaha Reface CP
- Roland SP-404 SX
