Z-Bear sets out on the water once again to bring you another voyage into the softer side of Rock. This time the tracks are from the 1990s. This decade is often undervalued in musical history compared to the nostalgia and acknowledgment given to the 60s, 70s & 80s. However the music of the 90s was so such much more significant than the Grunge and Boy Bands that come to mind when thinking of this period. Due to the greed of record companies and the denial of the internet revolution that was bubbling under the surface, many songs from the 1990s were over-produced, over-commercialized and over-exposed. However the songs in this video show that this move toward corporate music also had the opposite effect. The musicians we showcase (even the legacy ones) were all pushing against the grain to create something unique and special.
