We are excited to announce the release of Mose's latest remix of "Hanbleceya" by Omer Gonen-Haela. This track is a profound synthesis of prayerful, intentional songwriting and dance production, designed to support healing and deepen the awakening process for listeners and dancers alike. Omer's prayerful vocals are enriched by a powerful Lakota chant, anchoring the energy of the vision quest from which this track was born. "Hanbleceya is the vision quest. It is in the language of the Lakota tribe and it means ‘crying for a vision'. The song was written on the 4th day of a vision quest as I was alone, weary, thirsty, and broken," Omer explains.
"As the words came to me, I carved them with a knife on a rock, singing them again and again, shaping this melody that filled me with strength and joy. It was a prayer connecting me to the simplicity and beauty of life." One of Omer's favorite lines in the song is "In this great loneliness, we are learning to be together," and this collaboration with Mose brings a grounded dimension to these words. Now, people will be dancing together to the beat of the words that came to him in the loneliness of that moment on the mountain. This remix invites everyone to join in a communal dance that honors the profound journey self enquiry and the deep connection this foster within us and with one another.
