Vee Jay had 16 Beatles songs, they released 5 albums, 4 singles & 1 EP!
Capitol Records i America had no interest in the Beatles whatsoever.
This opened the door for small independent label Vee Jay, to launch the Beatles in America.
The first album – Introducing The Beatles was released and re-released
with two slightly different track listings.
Those same tracks were then re-used for three more albums,
Jolly What! The Beatles & Frank Ifield on Stage,
The Beatles vs The Four Seasons
and – Songs Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles.
Quite an achievement!
