We go behind the scenes at the UWE Bristol ‘Sound Shower’ film shoot to hear from some of the staff and students involved and see how the film was put together. This film has been created in collaboration with Clear Channel, SMRS and produced by Skylark Media and was designed to feature in a purpose-built unit in both Cribbs Causeways and Cabot Circus shopping centres in Bristol. This innovative technology will immerse people in what it’s like to study on our Campuses and is an exciting first for UWE Bristol.

The idea behind the film was that we wanted to bring our campuses right into the heart of our buzzing city. Giving the people of Bristol a ‘fly on the wall’ type snapshot of what it’s like here on our campuses and a sense of what it feels like to be a UWE Bristol student. We wanted this to be a truly immersive experience, with engaging visuals and strong audio so that the audience feel like they are part of the experience and want to see more. Using an Insta360 camera and with the help of our students and staff we have been able to dive into the action and create an attention-grabbing film.
