This amp came in for repair. Complaint: Would play for a few minutes, then made popping noises, then blows the main power fuse. The fellow had recently purchased this amp off Reverb.com. Paid top dollar. The description stated it was totally restored. Well, work was performed, but china components were used. I removed the 6L6 tube sockets and all of the MOD caps. Installed NOS Cinch sockets and F&T caps. Changed a few other misc parts. Touched up eyelet connections. Amp sprang to life. Bias holds steady. Its ready to go back home. Another case of a rebuild having to be redone.
