Born and raised in Chicago, Gold Chisme (Spanish for gossip), is a Latina/e DJ, producer, designer, and lead vocalist in dark wave band, Dark Chisme, based in Seattle. Their early influences of house, disco, funk, Latin, and new/dark wave sounds blend together effortlessly for a genre-bending soundscape. Gold Chisme has shared the stage with artists such as Atrak, The Juan McLean, The Knocks, Poolside, and many more. From their residency at Cry Now Cry Later, to being a board member for the community focused music festival, Freakout, Gold Chisme has a wondrous passion for music and media.
