In October 2016, Kim Kardashian was alone in her private Paris apartment when a gang of armed robbers broke in. They tied her up at gunpoint and stole over $10 million in jewelry—including a $4 million engagement ring. The gang? A crew of elderly French criminals, known as the “Kardashian 12.” Some were in their 70s. One brought his girlfriend to help plan it.

They found Kim through social media. Tracked her location. Knew she’d be alone. Kim begged for her life. She thought they were going to kill her.

Now, nearly a decade later, they’re finally heading to trial—and Kim is expected to testify.
