Pulse FM was a hub for London's talent. The 90.6 FM dial became famous because of Pulse FM
Pulse FM continued to be popular in the years that succeeded its reign of supremacy, with successors stations Chicago FM, Mission FM and Y2K FM all following in its footsteps of greatness. They were active between the years 1991-1995 and were later succeeded by Chicago FM which was set up by Badger B who had left Freek FM.

Pulse 90.6 FM was one of many pirate radio stations that emerged in London during this time, as a way for DJs and music enthusiasts to share their love of electronic dance music with a wider audience. Pirate radio stations were broadcasting without a licence, and they often faced legal challenges and interference from law enforcement. However, they were also seen as a way to push the boundaries of mainstream radio and introduce new music to listeners who might not have otherwise been exposed to it.
Pulse 90.6 FM had a number of prominent DJs who became associated with the station, including names like DJ Randall, DJ Ash, DJ Swane, and DJ Outrage. These DJs played a key role in shaping the sound of the station and helping to establish it as a leading voice in London's rave scene.
Despite facing challenges from the authorities, Pulse 90.6 FM was able to operate for several years, and it remains a significant part of London's electronic dance music history. The station was eventually shut down, but its legacy lives on through the music and memories of those who were involved.
