Thanks to the help of visual artists on #Fiverr, watch the first-ever music video for Marvin Gaye's song "Save The Children," which was remixed by renowned producer, SaLaAM ReMi.

In its over 50 years of existence, "Save the Children," a fan favorite on Marvin Gaye's 1971 concept album What's Going On never had a music video treatment. That changed in 2022 – to close out Universal Music Enterprise's 50th Anniversary celebration of What's Going On, users of Fiverr, an online freelance marketplace, were invited to listen to SaLaAM ReMi's remix of the song and participate in a design challenge. Whether traditional cartoons, graffiti, doodles, anime, or abstract sketches, we asked participants to create a 2D child-like character that could be featured in the official animated music video that would later premiere on Marvin Gaye's YouTube channel. The end goal was to produce an eclectic music video that celebrated the diverse listeners and their character interpretation of Marvin Gaye's "Save The Children".

This music video won a Webby Award in its Best Social Media Campaign category for Arts, Cultural, and Lifestyle projects.
