
There is always an alternative! Today we have crispy, moderately spicy (children in the family) chickpeas!
Nohut, mutton chickpeas or chickpeas, belongs to the legume family. Due to the high protein content, chickpeas can replace meat, so it is also actively used in vegetarian cuisine. It is a complete source of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and B vitamins, and an excellent source of minerals and iron. In addition, for all its usefulness, it is quite low in calories.
We will need:
Chickpeas 2 cups (make a double portion at once - it's very tasty! ;)
Sweet paprika 1-2 teaspoon
black pepper (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Garlic powder (to taste)
Olive oil (or other vegetable oil of your choice) 2 tablespoons
Soak chickpeas in water overnight. Drain, dry on a towel, pour into a container.
Then add your favorite spices, oil. Mix well and send to a preheated oven.
Cooking time 20-30 min at 180 C
The main thing is not to overdry, try it, but be careful - it is very snarky!
