Relatively recent resident of the Cryo Chamber label Brian Hillard returns to his home label Stereoscenic Records with his new side project Dreone, which aims at the framework of the space-ambient genre.

«Prelude» is the first part of a space journey, where Brian explores the boundless spaces, stars and galaxies, launching his music like a spaceship controlled by artificial intelligence. The music on the album quite well corresponds to the genre of space ambient, conveying to the ear the wonderful soundscapes of space. Slowly drifting and moderately gloomy album, where you can hear recognizable glimpses of a slight warmth in the sound that Brian Hilyard is familiar with. I think that these two criteria combine as well as possible for such a genre, because space is not always dark and scary.
