This documentary follows the obscure story of the longest armed standoff in FBI history. For 81 days, a heavily armed militia group known as the Montana Freemen and hundreds of FBI agents eyed each other across a desolate Eastern Montana prairie. Many predicted the standoff would end in violence, but ultimately, the Freemen surrendered peacefully, after undercover FBI agents led them to a meeting point where they were arrested.
