Raw material for the potential Dizzy Tiger Music Co release: Stay Out Forever - 'Dream Pop (Volume 2)' (DTMC116) I dreamt we were on holiday in a sunny coastal part of Europe, maybe the south of France. I was with Carolyn and Laura etc, Sara wasn't with us but was messaging on WhatsApp or something to catch up with people. There was a BBC music documentary series being made, presented by some of the former Top Gear presenters (certainly Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond) and we were both watching it and being present while it was being filmed. They were visiting Paul Anka, who was a little bitter about his own career but was now running a record label and recording country and soul artists in Memphis. It was a decent programme. I went for a walk and paused to lean on a promenade rail. Two women leant over and started trimming my hair while they discussed the forthcoming indiepop festival they were going to (the day after we were leaving) and tried to borrow £35 off me for drinks there. I headed back towards our hotel and Pulp were playing an outdoor gig with the pre-publicity mentioning that they were one of the few big Britpop bands to play Hastings Pier in the 90s (in real life, this did not happen). There was a female band supporting them and they were playing this song.
